We manufacture our mobility boxes the same way and from the same materials as all our other boxes.  As you can see from the pictures we put a door on one end for scooter access and a door on the front for storage.  When your scooter is in the box you still have some storage space.  We can make the box with the scooter access on either end.

Storage Box Base

All our storage units need a sound, flat level surface to be sited on ie: concrete, tarmac, block paving or flagstones.  We suggest the base material should be a minimum thickness of  2” (50 mm).  None of the sites we supply to will allow you to site a box directly onto grass only.  If this is the case please get permission from your site manager.
For this size box the minimum footprint needed is:

3 ft (900 mm) wide  x 5 ft 6” (1676 mm) deep + 3 ft (900 mm) for door clearance.

The outside size of our scooter box is:
3 ft (900 mm) wide  x 5 ft 6” (1676 mm) deep  x  4 ft (1220 mm) high.
The scooter door when open has a fresh air gap of:
775 mm (30 1/2”) wide x 1120 mm (44”) high.
The outside size of your scooter must not exceed these dimensions !
The scooter door has a removable floor plate, so you do not have any obstacles to contend with as you walk your scooter in and out of the box.
