Aluzink is the perfect product for many applications - its super corrosion resistant surface makes it particularly ideal in aggressive environments. It is also non-combustible BS476: Part4; Class 0. Numerous users, ignoring its anti-corrosion qualities, take benefit from its attractive and predictably uniform appearance. For example, Aluzink is used in cookers, fridges, filter coffee machines, microwave appliances and stereo/ video equipment Aluzink now has a new ALC coating. This coating strongly resists abrasive marking and unsightly fingerprints. It is also a primer and with a little experimentation Aluzink + ALC can be fabricated and directly painted without recourse to etching and priming. ALUZINK + ALC will now suit many more new markets. Its heat reflectivity properties are put to use in toasters and commercial ovens.

Plastisol is a generic name for the PVC based paint coating that is applied to the steel substrate in liquid form. Its substrate (base metal) is hot dipped galvanized steel. Plastisol is available in a huge choice of colours, finishes and are widely used for internal and external construction applications, as well as general engineering.
The Boxmen use two colours Olive Green and Mushroom (we call it cream). We have found that these two colours blend in with most caravans and verandas.
The Plastisol we use has an English leather grain emboss finish. The film thickness is 200 microns, advantages of this coating are it has a very good corrosion and scratch resistance. The Fire Classification for this plastisol is Class 1 according to BS 476 PART 7 1987.
All caravan storage boxes have a 0.7mm thk body and roof.
They have a 0.9mm thk aluzink floor.
